Prey For Teeth – From The Dry Edge Of The Shore LP, Limited Edition, Yellow/Brown With Black Haze(100 made) This album makes me so nostalgic and sentimental. I love how the vocals fits the beautiful and calming music.
Light Bearer – Silver Tongue Repress limited to 150x. The unfinished saga(still hoping for a release somehow of Act III). I know i touched on this before but Light Bearer(and Alex CF) is such a huge influence for me and my art. Not only in the visual aspect, even although they really are completely different styles. But the music and the album´s concept is something that really has gotten to me. Its the ultimate underdog story with so much depth. When looking holding and looking at art like this i get so inspired to keep making art of my own. At the last picture you can see the sad ‘adjutment’ the postal service contributed to.
Show Me A Dinosaur – Show Me A Dinosaur “Zvezdnoe Serdtse” (Heart of a Star)-Edition Limited nr 77 of 100. Listen: Here What a treat! Sweet like a bag of candy. I was thinking before to buy this wounderful album but when i saw the pictures of this release the consideration was over. The album it self might be real contender for Album of The year for me. A perfect blend of various genres that i bet you could argue over for days. If i have to say something negative it´s that it feels like the songs follow the same forumla. But on the positive side that leaves some room for improvment to the next album! Oh boy am i really looking forward for a new one. I […]
Morrow – Covenant Of Teeth Limited(200) Pre-order edition As always when Alex CF is involved you get a fantastic atmosphere and depth and im not only talking ábout the music here. When you open this package its like a another world and it almost feels a bit magical when you listen to the album and looking through the included booklet. Damn i love the feeling of the paper the booklet was made of(wondering that type it is). This is a release where the LP truly adds the the experience of the music it self.
Rituals – S/t (limited, glow in the dark) A real oldie but goodie. Such emotional and beautiful. This album has been with me for so many years. But what happened with them? They are really hard to find info about. Only minus with this release is that the awesome poster and the includes lyric is in really low resolution.
Thought it might be a good idea to upload some of my dear band-shirts before they get to old. More will be added later but this is a start. Will do something similar with my CD´s and LP´s as well. Most of the shirts a bought at live shows.
Got myself a nice package today with 3 vinyls! Lara Korona – Land Unter In the Hearts of Emperors / Reka – Split Hiro / Who Needs Maps – Split
It was truly amazing although Dim did´t sounded as good as i was hoping for. That was the song i was looking forward to heard the most but as soon as they started to play Dark City, Dead Man it was all back to normal(by normal i mean fantastic). When i was walking out after the show i overheard a guys talking on his phone: “What did i just saw!? That was so prefect i have tears in my eyes” and you could really hear on his voice how happy and moved by the show he were. I think that summons it up pretty well. I took some photos from my seat. You can check them out Here. Bonus pic with me and some merch from the show.
Hope Drone – Cloak of Ash Not just my personal favorite album of the year but it also contains my favorite track of the year: The 20 magical minute long ‘Unending grey’. The picture is s personal visual adaptation of how the album feels for me.
